Compassion, 1997
Jewish volunteers in Sarajevo and a person reading mail smuggled in by Jewish volunteers are shown with a helmet and flak jacket used by volunteers in Sarajevo with an explosion from a video sequence projected on the helmet. This piece is part of a larger series that was commissioned by the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York for permanent installation in a special rotunda gallery that concludes the museum experience.
