In the interest of saving money, breaking the cycle of eating fast food twice a day, and cleaning the detritus from my pantry, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to trim my grocery budget to ZERO and commit to eating whatever I had in the house until it runs out. I had bought [...]

transcendent fast food

Late last night with grandpa, I had the best fast food experience ever.
We went to Jack in the Box for a couple of the Steak & Cheddar Ciabatta sandwiches.
First, the drive through person was perfect - repeated things clearly, understood what I wanted, all good. Not repeating everything, just what was needed, e.g. “coke [...]

Burning Man is the most beautiful thing ever made by the hand of man
I have spent the last week in a place of indescribable joy
It is the sum total of human kindness and good in π square miles
It is every dream you have ever had, all at the same time

I won’t go into my rebuttal in depth right now, I’ll probably post my paper after I write it, summary is that, hey, it’s [...]

Juustoleipä

7-11 food review

Kraft Philadelphia Snack Bites (Turtle).
Yum. Yummification.
Sold individually for 51¢ with tax, these are a masterpiece of corporate mouthfeel. silky synthetic substitutes for chocolate, cream cheese, and caramel melt into a delicate fusion. I was massively impressed. I ran back into the store and bought another one.

rib sammich

Huh. I actually quite like my lunch, a Big Eats® Dashboard Diner™ presents Tony Roma’s® Famous for Ribs Barbecue Rib boneless rib-shaped pork sandwich from 7-11®.
I think it’s my new favorite meat food product. It says “made with Tony Roma’s Original BBQ sauce,” but contrary to what you might expect, there is nearly no actual [...]
